I watched a video on YouTube titled "Why do the British Look Down on Americans?" and in the video you hear many stereotypes for both sides. I knew about how Americans view British people but not how British people view Americans and from a world standpoint, I will say that in the U.S. we do have many liberties that other countries may not and on the other hand we may do some things that don't make sense to other folks...But it's all up for debate.
If you're looking at things from a Christian standpoint, it really makes all the stereotypes seem stupid, for lack of a better term, and not new. You read about the cultural differences that were in the bible and it was mainly Jews against gentiles and if you apply that towards today then it's Christians versus non-Christians. Then you have your other worldly perspectives, such as different races against one another which has been a big deal for a while. But the truth that many people won't admit is that we all came from God. It may not immediately due away with all the problems there are or have been in the world, but we all came from God and originated from Adam and Eve (Gen 1). Once you realize this and that Christ does not care about the outer and he took down every dividing wall (Ephesians 2:14-15), you get to have true peace within and with others because you understand that you are no better. We are no better than the next person because we all have the same opportunity to come to Christ and glorify Him. Many times, we may feel hurt because we live in a society that doesn't care about God and because of that lack of care that people have, they allow evil to overcome them to the point where they oppress others, but Christ says we are blessed if we suffer trials for the sake of Him (Matthew 5:3-11). Sometimes that may mean putting up with those who are ignorant in respect to Him and ultimately that draws us closer to Him,
